This was taken in North Beach during a neighborhoods project I had to do for my black & white photography class in 2004. This photo was just taken on a whim … I didn’t think it’d turn out the way it would. But I love the composition, and the signs just grabbed my interest immediately. The signs make it interesting … it could be because they look like they’ve been there forever.
